The Andijan regional administration strongly denied the information about sexual violence against regional governor Shuhrat Abdurakhmonov circulating on social media and announced that a complaint had been filed with law enforcement agencies regarding such unfounded information.

According to the regional press service, a video posted on YouTube by blogger Ulugbek Ashur contains "serious and unfounded accusations" against governor Shuhrat Abdurakhmonov. It is worth noting that the video discusses a woman and her 15-year-old daughter being gifted a house by the regional leader, the woman being employed, and the daughter allegedly experiencing violence several times.

The Andijan regional administration emphasized in its denial that the information is based not on concrete evidence but on unfounded reports from citizens, constituting an open attack on the governor's honor, dignity, and reputation.

Additionally, the denial stated that a formal complaint had been filed with the relevant law enforcement agencies regarding this situation and that legal measures would be taken against individuals attempting to create a false impression among the public.
