Levandovski: “We could have been in the final, but we missed the opportunity”
Barcelona's leading striker Robert Lewandowski shared his thoughts after the dramatic clash against Inter in the Champions League semi-final. According to the captain of the Polish national team, the key turning point was indeed in the first match between the two teams.

"If we had won the first game, we would be preparing for the final in Munich now," Lewandowski said. "But unfortunately, we couldn't capitalize on the opportunities we had in that match. We performed well in the second leg as well — we quickly conceded two goals, then fought back and scored three goals. But that result wasn't enough."

The Catalan club lost to Inter 6-7 on aggregate in the semi-final. It is worth noting that according to Lewandowski, "Barça" played with team spirit, character, and heart in the second match, but every opportunity in football is significant, and every situation can turn into a fate marker.

"We looked better on the field as a team, we acted together, but this time it wasn't enough," added the "blaugrana" striker.

Lewandowski continues to inspire fans with his performances for Barcelona this season, but the chance to reach another Champions League final in the club's history has been lost. Now the Catalans aim to prepare for the next season, draw conclusions, and return to the fight for the UCL title with an even stronger squad.
