Lusiano compared Russian and Argentine football

Zenit's central striker Lusiano Gondo evaluated the quality of Russian football and compared the Russian Premier League to the Argentine championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

There is more physical struggle and competition in Argentine football. Lusiano also noted that there are more quality players in the Russian championship compared to Argentina.

He stated that their passion and motivation for the game is high. Lusiano joined Zenit in St. Petersburg in the summer of 2024.

He was purchased from Argentinos Juniors. Last season, the 24-year-old striker played in 29 matches in the Russian Premier League, scoring 11 goals and providing an assist to one teammate.
