Famous football player Mario Fernandes, who previously played for CSKA and Zenit in Russia, shared his thoughts on the relegation of the "Torpedo" team from the Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This summer, 34-year-old Fernandes spent some time training with the "autoworkers." According to him, the relegation of "Torpedo" from the Russian Premier League is a very unfortunate event.

The team had many young players who were preparing to play in the first division. Fernandes hopes that the team will succeed in returning to the Premier League next year.

It should be noted that "Torpedo" was relegated from the Russian Premier League eight days before the start of the season. The disciplinary committee of the Russian Football Union punished the "autoworkers" for attempting to fix matches.
