However, the player has declined the move. According to sources, the Brazilian footballer preferred to stay in Saint Petersburg over choosing between Russia and the Arab world.

At the same time, Vendel is holding onto hopes of returning to Brazil, but negotiations with "Flamengo," as previously reported in the media, are currently not taking place. It was also noted that "Zenit" is ready to consider offers starting from 20 million euros for the midfielder.

Last season, Vendel played in 27 matches across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing 13 assists, remaining one of the team's key players.
