Uzbek grandmaster Nodirbek Yakubboyev won the Prague International Chess Festival international tournament held in Prague.

He participated in the "Challengers" group without any defeats, scoring 7 points in 9 rounds and became the champion of the competition. In the final match, he defeated Danish chess player Jonas Bjerre.
