How did English experts evaluate Husanov's game?
The 28th round of the English Premier League was kicked off by teams competing for third place – Nottingham Forest and Manchester City.
Although Josep Guardiola's disciples had the upper hand during the match, the victory went to the "foresters." The hosts capitalized on the vacant areas of Josko Gvardiol and Ederson to score the winning goal.
Abduqodir Husanov also put in a full effort in this match. Our legionnaire was one of the best players on the field.
Experts from the cityxtra.co.uk portal, which covers English football, rated the actions of the "citizens" on a scale of 10 as follows.
Ederson – 5:
He saved a dangerous shot from Callum Hudson-Odoi in the 66th minute. However, in the next situation, the striker scored a goal into the near corner past the goalkeeper.
Mateush Nunes – 6:
He did not fully justify the confidence placed in him. He made several questionable decisions. He played better in defense than in midfield. As a result, he was replaced by Rico Lewis.
Abduqodir Husanov – 8:
Husanov continues to amaze everyone and was the best player for Manchester City on the field. Overall, since the Uzbek player joined the team in January, he has become a reliable defender that Josep Guardiola trusts with his solid performances.
In the match against Nottingham Forest, we also saw Husanov take the ball away, defend confidently, and deliver a series of accurate long passes. Opponent strikers Hudson-Odoi and Chris Wood could not get past Husanov at all.
Ruben Dias – 7:
He played quite calmly with confidence. He could not stop Hudson-Odoi in the situation leading to the goal.
Josko Gvardiol – 7:
He could not provide sufficient resistance to the striker in the situation leading to the opponent's goal. However, he was active in organizing attacks during the match. He combined with Doku, Savino, and Silva on the left flank.
Bernardo Silva – 6.5:
Initially, he could not break through the opponent's defense on his flank. His game opened up after Kevin De Bruyne came onto the field.
Niko Gonzalez – 6:
He tried to stop the "foresters" in the center of the field. However, he still has a long way to go to reach the level of Ballon d'Or winner Rodri.
Savino – 6:
The central striker could not provide a single comfortable pass to Erling Haaland.
Phil Foden – 6:
There was an opportunity to score at the beginning of the game. However, recently Foden has been "missing" in matches.
Jeremie Doku – 7:
One of the brightest players in Manchester City's attack could not showcase his skills this time.
Erling Haaland – 6.5:
The Norwegian striker could not get past the opponent's defenders. His efforts were fruitless, and he left the field without scoring.
Rico Lewis – 6:
He joined the game from the bench and took a position on the right flank. However, his actions were also insufficient to get past the opponent's defense.
Mateo Kovacic – 6.5:
At the end of the game, he came close to saving his team from defeat. His shot went wide after hitting the post.
Kevin De Bruyne – 6:
Upon entering the field, he began to organize his team's attacks. However, on that day, the "foresters" defended well.
Umar Marmush – 6.5:
It was evident that he had joined the game. He tried to create a situation for Haaland to score.
It is worth noting that after this defeat, Manchester City missed the opportunity to climb to third place. Until the end of the season, Josep Guardiola's disciples will have to fight to maintain their position in the spots that grant qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
