The Paris club has signed a contract with Porto's central defender Otavio. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
A five-year agreement was reached with the 23-year-old Brazilian player, with the deal valued at 17 million euros. Otavio had moved to Porto from the Portuguese club Famalicao about a year and a half ago.
At that time, the player's transfer value was estimated at 12.3 million euros. The new player is a graduate of the Brazilian club Flamengo.
According to experts from the Transfermarkt portal, his market value is 10 million euros. It is worth noting that Paris will play in France's first league this season.
Last season, the team finished second in the country's second strongest division, collecting 69 points. This transfer is considered an important step aimed at strengthening the Paris team's defense line.
