Delio Rossi, the former head coach of Rome's "Lazio" club, has returned to the "Foggia" team as head coach for the fifth time. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

If his playing career is also taken into account, this marks his fifth stint with this club. The last time he managed "Foggia" was in the spring of 2023, and the collaboration lasted approximately three months.

At that time, the team finished fourth in Serie C and actively participated in the play-off matches, but stopped just short of returning to Serie B. Over the past two years, the specialist has been inactive at home, but he has now been invited back to "Foggia."

Previously, well-known players like Igor Shalimov and his namesake Igor Kolyvanov have played for this team. The "Foggia" team has participated in a total of eleven seasons in Serie A.
