The English club "Newcastle" is showing serious interest in the German team RB Leipzig's forward Benjamin Šeško. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Sky Germany, the transfer of the 22-year-old Slovenian footballer is under consideration. The "Newcastle" club is ready to spend around 80 million euros for his transfer.
At the same time, the Transfermarkt website estimates the player's market value at around 70 million euros. Benjamin Šeško has been playing for the Leipzig team since the 2023/24 season.
During the last season, he played a total of 45 matches in all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing 6 assists. His performance on the field has been greatly beneficial to the team.
Currently, the "Newcastle" club is negotiating to add the player to their ranks. If this transfer goes through, the player's career is expected to reach a new level.
