Rubin club extended the contract with Ivu

The Kazan city's "Rubin" football club is close to extending the contract with the main midfielder Ugochukwu Ivu. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to the publication "Sport-Express," the parties have reached a new two-year agreement, which will last until the summer of 2027. The 25-year-old player represents the Armenian national team and arrived in Kazan in 2023.

Since then, Ivu has played in 62 official matches for "Rubin," scoring two goals and receiving nine yellow cards. It is worth noting that in the first round of the new season, the team led by Rashid Rahimov defeated "Akhmat" away with a score of 2:0.

Last season, the Kazan team secured the seventh place in the league table. This news provides information about the future activities of the "Rubin" team and plans related to Ivu.
