Sergey Migitsko: Zenit is a people's team, not Spartak

Russian People's Artist Sergey Migitsko referred to "Zenit" as a people's team and emphasized that the St. Petersburg club is more popular than Moscow's "Spartak." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The actor stated that due to his extensive travels across Russia, he has seen that the number of fans of the "blue-white-blue" team is greater than that of the "red-white" team. According to him, "Zenit" has a large army of fans not only in St. Petersburg but also in other regions.

In an interview with "Sport-Express," Migitsko mentioned that due to his professional activities, he has been in various corners of the country and has witnessed many people’s interest in "Zenit" and their support for the team. After the first two rounds of the Russian Premier League competition, "Zenit" is in sixth place in the league table with four points.

At the same time, "Spartak" occupies the tenth position with three points. In the second round, the "red-white" team lost to "Baltika" in Kaliningrad at home by three goals.
