Moreno: Sochi will play today only for victory

Sochi football team's head coach Robert Moreno shared his thoughts ahead of the match against Rubin. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the team needs to win to break out of the unsuccessful streak. The coach emphasized that they will take the field today only for victory.

He stated that the opponent is a strong team with an experienced coach and players. Nevertheless, the Sochi team has set a clear goal and will strive only for victory.

When asked about the choice of goalkeeper, Moreno said it was his personal decision. He mentioned that he chose this particular player because he believes Degtev can contribute in today's match.

Changes in the defense line were also explained by the coach. He stated that he selects players based on their current condition and the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent.

In particular, Rubin's attacking line and player Daku deserve special attention. Therefore, the coach highlighted that he chose defenders who can fight against the opponent's attack.

While discussing Rubin's results at the beginning of the season, Moreno noted that the Sochi team currently lacks successful results, but this is only the start of the season. He emphasized that the Sochi team is improving in every match and that there are still many opportunities ahead.

At the same time, he acknowledged that today's opponent is strong, will compete for high positions, and that Sochi will also strive to rise in the tournament table.
