Koshta played as a defender for the Porto team from 1990 to 2005. He made 50 appearances for the national team and scored 2 goals.

After retiring from professional football, Koshta has coached various clubs in Portugal and other countries for nearly twenty years. Currently, doctors are taking necessary measures regarding his health, and his condition is being closely monitored.

Koshta has extensive experience in football and has contributed to the development of many young players.
