Currently, some sources report that St. Petersburg specialist Stanislav Cherchesov may soon be appointed as the head coach of the Akhmat football team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In order to obtain a comment on this information, the club's press service in Grozny was contacted. However, club representatives stated that they would not provide any comments on this matter.
For reference, it was announced earlier this week that Akhmat club's head coach Aleksandr Storozhuk has left his position. The team has lost all four matches played in the new season of the Russian championship and Cup.
As a result, the management decided to dismiss the coach. Stanislav Cherchesov is currently not active as a coach with any team.
He previously managed the Akhmat club from 2011 to 2013. Therefore, various speculations are being made about the possibility of his return to this team.
