33-year-old midfielder Bernard Berisha set a timeline regarding the possibility of returning to his Akhmat club in Grozny. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He stated that he will wait until the end of the week. If the club president or coach contacts him, he is ready to return to the team.
Otherwise, he announced that he would sign a contract with another team. Berisha knows the Akhmat club well.
He has been active in this club for eight years. His career with the Grozny team lasted from 2017 to 2025.
Last year, during the tenure of former head coach Alexander Storozhuk, Berisha and the club mutually agreed to terminate their cooperation. The player, originally from Kosovo, had dreamed of finishing his career at this very club.
Additionally, this week, Stanislav Cherchesov was appointed as the new head coach of the Akhmat club. Therefore, changes are happening around the club, and Berisha's future is still uncertain.
In the coming days, the outcome of negotiations between the club management and the player will determine where he will continue his career.
