Lokomotiv's left-back Ilya Samoshnikov remains one of the main transfer targets for Spartak. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Ivan Karpov, known for his insights in the sports field, negotiations between the two clubs are planned to resume after the upcoming derby match. Karpov stated on his Telegram channel that the talks would restart soon.
Reports suggest that Samoshnikov may not participate in this match and is expected to undergo a medical examination next week to finalize his transfer to Spartak. Additionally, the transfer fee is anticipated to be around 3.5-4 million euros.
The defender is set to sign a contract with Spartak until 2028. This season, the 27-year-old Samoshnikov has played in two matches in the Russian Premier League and the Russian Cup, but has not stood out with effective actions.
As a result of the transfer negotiations, all conditions for Samoshnikov's new club activities are expected to be created. The Spartak management also considers adding this player to be important.
