The famous Paris football club PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov is unhappy with the club's management decisions regarding his future. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to French journalists, Safonov was angered by the unfulfilled promises made to him when he joined the club. The club's management brought Safonov into the team last summer and spent 20 million euros on his transfer.
Currently, PSG's management is considering parting ways with Safonov during the summer transfer window. They plan to buy Luka Chevalier from another French club, Lille, as the main goalkeeper.
Additionally, PSG wants to purchase Ukrainian player Ilya Zabarnyi, and he reportedly does not want a Russian player in the team. For this reason, the club intends to part ways with Safonov.
Matvey Safonov joined PSG last summer. Although his transfer was expensive for the club, the management currently does not see it as favorable to continue the contract with him.
The club's future plans and desire to attract new players have left Safonov's future in the team in question.
