Mascherano: Messi will not play against Orlando City due to injury

Inter Miami football team's head coach Javier Mascherano provided information about Lionel Messi's health. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The 38-year-old forward sustained a muscle injury in the match against the "Nekaksa" team last week. Messi is currently continuing his recovery process.

According to the coach, Messi will not be able to take the field in the upcoming MLS match against "Orlando City." Mascherano emphasized at the press conference that Messi would not participate in tomorrow's game.

He stated that putting Messi on the field in his current condition could lead to significant risks. Therefore, the coach expressed his support for preserving the player and waiting for him to fully recover.

He also added that the team hopes for Messi's swift return. The match between "Inter Miami" and "Orlando City" is scheduled to take place from Sunday to Monday night.

The game is planned to start at 05:00 Tashkent time. Although the team will be without Messi, they are striving to achieve a good result in front of their fans.
