Pal’tsev: “Dinamo” conceded a goal in the last minute due to fatigue
Mahachkala's “Dinamo” defender Valentin Pal’tsev spoke about his feelings after conceding a goal to Moscow's “Spartak” team in the additional minutes of the Russian Cup match. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He stated that in this situation he smiled, as the course of the game in the second half could have led to such a result. In the 87th minute, Hamid Agalarov from the guest team successfully converted a penalty, putting his team ahead.
However, in the fifth additional minute, “Spartak” player Ruslan Litvinov equalized the score. According to Valentin Pal’tsev, the “Dinamo” players lost their focus due to fatigue in the final moments of the game and conceded a goal.
The regular time of the match ended with a score of 1:1. In the penalty shootout, the “Dinamo” team acted more accurately and achieved victory.
According to Pal’tsev, the team fought until the end and ultimately prevailed in the penalties. Thus, “Dinamo” advanced to the next stage.
