Former "Zenit" player Aleksey Gasilin criticized the head coach of Moscow's "Spartak" team, Deyan Stankovich. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the expert, the Serbian coach is fully responsible for the unsatisfactory results of the "red-whites" at the beginning of the season. Gasilin emphasized that the "Spartak" squad is not bad, but Stankovich must acknowledge that his ideas are not working.
He stated that the entire game of the team is built only through Zablotniy, and this situation is not correct. On August 13, "Spartak" lost to Makhachkala's "Dinamo" in the penalty shootout in the group stage of the Russian Cup at home.
Currently, "Spartak" has won only once after four rounds in the Russian championship. The team is in eleventh place in the league table.
Aleksey Gasilin pointed out that the current results of "Spartak" are related to the coach's wrong decisions and shortcomings in choosing the playing style. He noted that for positive changes in the team, the coach needs to reassess his work.
