According to Vladimir Ponomaryov, a veteran of the CSKA team in the capital, Serbian coach Dejan Stanković should resign from his position as head coach of Moscow's Spartak club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Ponomaryov stated that the team has not been able to show the expected results at the beginning of the current season. He believes that Stanković should make a manly decision and leave his position voluntarily.
While expressing his opinion on this matter, the football expert emphasized that it would be right for the coach to resign on his own accord. After four rounds of the Russian championship, the Spartak team has accumulated four points and is currently in eleventh place in the competition table.
In the next match, Spartak, under Stanković's leadership, will face Zenit from Saint Petersburg at home. The match will take place on Saturday, August 16, at the Lukoil Arena stadium.
This game is of significant importance for the team, and the results may determine the future decisions of the club's management. Experts believe that Spartak has serious tasks ahead and clear results are expected from the coach.
