Negotiations for Samoshnikov's transfer to Spartak are nearing completion

Moscow's Lokomotiv football club defender Ilya Samoshnikov may transfer to another club in the near future. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He is currently expected to join the red-and-white team. This is reported by sources in the sports field.

According to insider Ivan Karpov, the parties are close to an agreement. The contract between Samoshnikov and Spartak is planned until 2028, with the player's annual salary being approximately 1.4 million euros.

Spartak has offered 350 million rubles to buy the player. Lokomotiv, in response, is asking for 400 million rubles and additional bonuses.

The source emphasizes that negotiations are expected to conclude at this amount and the player's transfer is anticipated to take place in the coming days. In the current season, Samoshnikov has played only one match for Lokomotiv in the Russian Premier League.

Last year, he participated in 24 matches and managed to score four goals. For this reason, his transfer to a new club could be beneficial for both parties.

The transfer of the qualified defender is expected to strengthen the Spartak team.
