Former Russian national team player Dmitry Alenichev commented on the possibility of Dejan Stankovich, head coach of the "Spartak" team, being dismissed. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Alenichev, Stankovich's mental state is not good and he seems tired of "Spartak". Additionally, the coach may not feel the need to continue working or the players may not be accepting his ideas.
In the current season, within the Russian Premier League, the "red-whites" team has shown the worst start since 2011. The Moscow team has managed to win only one out of four matches and is currently in 11th place in the league table.
On August 16, "Spartak" will take the field against "Zenit" in the fifth round of the Russian championship. The match is scheduled to start at 17:30 Moscow time.
