Komlichenko: Let's train new football players ourselves

The striker of the capital's Lokomotiv team, Nikolay Komlichenko, shared his thoughts about the abundance of young Russian football players in the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He emphasized the importance of giving opportunities to young players. According to Komlichenko, instead of bringing foreign players to the team, it is better to develop our own players within one or two years.

This approach is considered beneficial for the team's future. Currently, Lokomotiv has only three foreign players: Zherzhinyo Nyamsi, Cesar Montes, and Lukas Fasson.

The Colombian player Cristian Ramirez holds a Russian passport. The team has won all four matches in the Russian championship so far and is leading the tournament table.

Additionally, the Russian Ministry of Sports plans to gradually reduce the number of foreign players in Russian Premier League clubs. This decision is aimed at developing national football.
