Russian coach Boris Ignatyev shared his thoughts on the situation at Moscow "Dynamo" before their match against CSKA in the 5th round of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, there is currently a significant misunderstanding between the coach and the players at "Dynamo". Coach Valery Karpin is bringing many new players into the team.
The "white-blue" team needs time because the new squad has not yet fully adapted. Ignatyev knows Karpin well from his work with "Rostov" and the Russian national team and places hope in his experience.
At present, Karpin's pupils have collected a total of five points in four rounds and are ninth in the competition table. The capital derby will take place on August 17 at the "VTB Arena" stadium, with the match scheduled to start at 18:00 local time.
It is also worth noting that Karpin was appointed head coach of "Dynamo" in June this year, while retaining his position as coach of the Russian national team.
