Cristiano Ronaldo commented on the victory over the Denmark national team.
The Portugal national team defeated the Danes in the UEFA Nations League quarter-final second leg (5:2, first leg – 0:1) and advanced to the next stage of the tournament. In the first half, Ronaldo took a penalty but was unable to convert it into a goal.
"Even after not being able to take advantage of the penalty, I felt we would advance to the next stage. Only those who try to score make mistakes. It was an amazing night, Portugal played very well, scoring five goals against Denmark is not easy.
We all deserve congratulations: the players, those who were in the stadium, all the Portuguese. We are all in the same boat, and reaching the semi-finals was very important," said the Portugal national team and Al-Nassr club forward in an interview with NOW.
