The Moscow-based football club "Lokomotiv" intends to appeal to the expert referees commission of the Russian Football Union. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Information about this was provided on the team's Telegram channel. The reason for the appeal was several controversial situations during the match against Samarkand's "Kanotlar" club in the 7th round.
The match ended in a 2:2 draw. The list of complaints includes the following: the penalty was not awarded due to a foul committed by goalkeeper Pesyakov against Batrakov in the 81st minute, the disallowance of Komlichenko's goal in added time of the second half, and three minutes later, he was given a second warning.
Additionally, the team may express dissatisfaction with other decisions made by the head of the refereeing group, Sergey Karasyov. After this game, "Lokomotiv" is in fourth place in the Russian Premier League standings with 15 points.
Also, "Baltika" and CSKA have 15 points each, while "Krasnodar" leads with 16 points.
