From April 7 to 14, the "Freestyle Chess Grand Slam Paris-2025" tournament took place in Paris.
In the final, Magnus Carlsen defeated Hikaru Nakamura, winning the championship and a prize of $200,000. In the battle for third place, Fabiano Caruana triumphed over Vincent Keymer with a score of 1.5:0.5, earning $100,000 and a spot in the next tournament in Las Vegas.
Our compatriot Nodirbek Abdusattorov finished the competition in 8th place and received a prize of $20,000. He was invited to the tournament only 1 day before it started.
