Uzbek talented midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullayev, who is active in the CSKA club in Russia, gave an interview to the "Match TV" channel about the changes in his game. After the important victory (2:1) over Spartak in the Moscow derby, Abbosbek clarified his current situation.
— I have noticed that my performance has changed this season. This is a new position for me, and I am required to return to defense more than before on the field. Perhaps this is why my game is not as bright as it used to be. But the most important thing is to help the team. If the head coach puts me here, I will definitely try to move there and contribute to my team with all my strength, — said the player.
When asked whether this issue had been discussed with head coach Marko Nikolich, Abbos responded:
— Yes, of course. The coaches know my physical condition well. I performed well in physical tests during the winter training camp. That is why Nikolich wants to see me in this position and is explaining in detail how I should play.
It is worth noting that the 21-year-old Uzbek player has played in 33 matches in all competitions for CSKA this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 7 assists.
Abbosbek Fayzullayev and his team CSKA are currently in third place in the Russian Premier League standings with 51 points.
