In this photo, he is pictured together with German national team players Lukas Podolski, Bastian Schweinsteiger, and Mesut Özil. Igor Diveev took this photo at the age of 10, before the Russia vs Germany match within the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
At that time, young Diveev went onto the field alongside the German players. This was his first appearance on the field with the national team.
Recalling this event, Diveev commented, “My first time stepping onto the field with our national team! Indeed, together with Podolski, Schweinsteiger, and Özil.”
It is known that in October 2009, in a match held at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia lost to Germany 0:1. The only goal of the match was scored by Miroslav Klose.
