Javohir Sindarov entered the world's Top 10 in chess

Javohir Sindarov has entered the world's Top-10 in classical chess rankings, marking another significant milestone in the history of Uzbek chess. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Following the latest rating updates, Sindarov has risen and solidified his position within the Top-10. This change was influenced by Wesley So's participation in the American Cup tournament.
After the tournament, Wesley So lost 9 rating points and dropped out of the Top-10. As a result, Sindarov moved up and succeeded in entering the Top-10.
This event is historically significant because, for the first time, two Uzbek grandmasters — Nodirbek Abdusattorov and Javohir Sindarov — simultaneously ranked among the world's top ten chess players. This further elevates Uzbekistan's name in the chess world.
Both prominent figures are now part of the elite at the same time. This achievement is not just a number but a result of the Uzbek chess school, hard work, and an effective system.
The main task now is to maintain this pace and make the Top-10 a permanent place. Source: One.uz.
