Dustin Pore considers the Battle of Oliveyra a total victory.

The star of the Unified Boxing Federation, Dustin Poirier, shared his candid and sharp opinion about the reality that emerged after the exciting rematch between Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He emphasized that this fight was not an ordinary even match, but rather resembled complete dominance lasting almost twenty-five minutes. According to Poirier, before the fight, he assumed that Max Holloway might struggle in some episodes and even weaken to the point of going to his back.
However, he did not expect this situation to extend throughout the entire fight. In his opinion, fans might have seen such a level of control over an experienced fighter like Holloway for the first time.
Dustin Poirier assessed this situation as total dominance and said that before the fight, he thought Max might occasionally falter, but he did not imagine it would last for twenty-five minutes. According to him, we had never seen such dominance over Holloway before.
Charles Oliveira seemed to have gone crazy during the fight and held his opponent excellently on the ground. These knockdowns were not a classic wrestling scheme; on the contrary, the American could not find any defense against the knockdowns that night.
The main point in this assessment is that Oliveira's knockdowns differed from a simple wrestling scheme. According to Poirier, this aspect broke Holloway and left him unable to defend himself.
On the ground, Oliveira had his opponent tightly trapped. It should be reminded that Oliveira defeated Holloway at UFC 326 by unanimous decision of the judges and won the BMF belt.
Thus, this rematch turned out to be different not only in result but also in style from what most expected. Instead of Holloway's free movement, Oliveira's tight control came to the forefront and held the entire process of the fight in his hands.
