Kannavaro spoke about the team's preparation before the Gabon match.

The head coach of the Uzbekistan national team, Fabio Cannavaro, shared his thoughts at a press conference before the match against Gabon. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He emphasized that despite it being a friendly match, the team has prepared well and strives to win every game. Cannavaro apologized for being late and explained that the reason was traffic congestion on the road.
Answering a question about the large number of midfielders, the coach said he considered the possibility of changing the formation during the game. At the same time, he noted that this time the number of forwards has been increased by one.
Speaking about the absence of Gabon's leading player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, he said he studied the opponent and focused all attention on their own game. Cannavaro stressed that in football, names do not play on the field, so regardless of whether the opponent is strong or weak, the team must play with all their strength.
Regarding injured players, the coach said he is constantly monitoring their condition and has even visited their surgeries. He emphasized the importance of giving hope to the players and noted that the opportunity to join the national team is open to everyone.
Cannavaro especially recalled that Abbosbek Fayzullaev has been injured many times and said he carefully monitors the condition of all players until the last minute. Answering the question of whether a fighting lineup will be fielded in tomorrow’s match or new players will start, the coach said he aims to give all players a chance.
He particularly emphasized his intention to test all players through these games. Source: One.uz
