The AFC technical team, which operated during the U-17 Asian Cup held in Saudi Arabia this year, published analytical conclusions about the teams that participated in the competition. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbekistan Football Association.
During this analysis, the games of the Uzbekistan U-17 national team, the tactics used by head coach Islombek Ismoilov during the matches, and the overall performance of the team were particularly acknowledged, as well as the team's play in attack and defense, individual and collective approaches, and precise actions in finishing situations were highly rated by technical observers.
“Ismoilov's coaching style has always been based on an attacking game. He directed his team not only to defend during the game but also to always push for attacks, encouraging them to penetrate the opponent's penalty area. The main goal of the head coach was to organize an open game in attack and avoid mistakes in defense. Throughout the tournament, the Uzbekistan U-17 team effectively utilized quick ball passing in wide areas, making good use of straight and diagonal passes. Additionally, the team's actions in set pieces also demonstrated their effectiveness.
