On the eve of the UAE – Uzbekistan match, which is part of the 9th round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying stage, an official technical meeting was held with the participation of officials from both teams. According to Zamin.uz correspondent from Abu Dhabi, representatives of the AFC and members of the local organizing committee also participated in this meeting.
During the meeting, official explanations were provided to the representatives of both teams regarding several important issues related to the game. In particular, information regarding marketing rules, medical assistance, and security systems was widely discussed.
The form and color were also clarified
The Uzbekistan national team will play in a completely blue uniform for this match. The goalkeeper will wear a green uniform. This decision was made in accordance with AFC regulations, based on the requirement that both teams' uniforms must be distinct.
It is worth noting that such technical meetings are held before each international match, and the full organizational readiness of the participating teams is monitored. Everything is determined, from the color of the uniforms to the banners, the placement of officials, and even the location of medical service providers.
