"Tottenxem" leader apologized to believers for the mistakes made on the path

Tottenham Football Club President Peter Charrington issued a special appeal to fans, formally apologizing for the mistakes and misfortunes of recent years, Zamin.uz. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
As the head emphasized, the London club had long prioritized financial profit over on-field results. This misguided approach became one of the main reasons for one of the team’s worst seasons in the English Premier League.
At this point, Goal.com provided further details. The season-saving victory came in the form of a narrow win over Everton, which prevented Tottenham from being relegated to a lower division.
In this way, the club averted the serious threat of relegation for the first time since 1977. Had Tottenham retained its place in the top division, another London representative, West Ham, would have been forced to leave the championship.
In his appeal, Charrington regretted that the club had lost its core values and strong connection with loyal fans. Structural changes in club management began in September of the past year, when Daniel Levi stepped down after a quarter-century of service.
According to the acting president, such reforms should have been implemented much earlier. In his view, the team has not been adequately structured to compete effectively in one of the world’s strongest leagues, and key positions lack experienced specialists.
This has negatively impacted overall results. At the same time, the club’s leadership categorically denied various rumors circulating about Tottenham’s potential sale.
The Louis family confirmed their continued commitment to developing the project and stated that offers from foreign investors would not be considered. For now, the main focus is on the upcoming summer transfer window.
It was noted that priority will be given not to commercial interests, but to recruiting talented players capable of ensuring the team’s sporting success. Peter Charrington pledged to fully renew not only the starting lineup, but also the club’s academy, medical department, and women’s team.
In his words, Tottenham must consistently compete among the strongest teams each season. The concluded season failed to meet either the club’s ambitions or the expectations of its supporters.
Nevertheless, the leadership expressed its determination to use all available opportunities to regain fans’ trust and rebuild the team.
