70 million euros are being asked for Joao Pedro

The striker of England's "Brighton" team, Joao Pedro, is under interest from another English club – "Newcastle". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Talksport, the management of "Newcastle" has attempted to acquire the player but received a rejection. The "Newcastle" management offered 50 million euros to "Brighton" for the 23-year-old player.

However, "Brighton" wants to receive at least 70 million euros from the sale of the player. Currently, the parties are continuing negotiations. Last season, Joao Pedro played in 27 matches in the English championship.

He scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists. The player's performance is expected to contribute significantly to the team this season as well.
