The Ulyanovsk "Volga" team announced that they have signed a contract with goalkeeper Vladimir Shayhutdinov. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the club's press service, the 21-year-old goalkeeper, who previously played for the Moscow Central Sports Club CSKA, will now continue his career with the team on a permanent basis. Shayhutdinov had been playing on loan for "Volga" since the summer of 2024.
Last season, he played in 18 matches, conceded 20 goals, and kept his goal safe 6 times. In May 2024, he made his debut for the CSKA first team.
This event occurred during the final match of the Russian Cup competition, which took place on the RPL path, against "Zenit." The score was 0:0, and during the penalty shootout, when they lost 4:5, Shayhutdinov came on the field as a substitute for Vladislav Torop.
Thus, he passed an important milestone in his professional career and is striving to establish his place in the new team.
