The coach of St. Petersburg's "Zenit" team, Anatoliy Timoshuk, expressed his opinion about the performance of forward Gustavo Mantuan in the right back position. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The coach emphasized that Mantuan performed well in this position and the team was satisfied with his work and quality. Of course, there were some shortcomings, but Gustavo made good progress in defense.
He also created many opportunities in attack. Last season, the 24-year-old Brazilian player played in 38 matches across all competitions, scored two goals, and provided seven assists.
Mantuan's current contract with "Zenit" is set to last until 2027. According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is three and a half million euros.
