Luis Chaves successfully underwent surgery on his knee

Mexican midfielder Luis Chaves, a player representing Moscow's Dynamo team, successfully underwent surgery on his injured knee. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The press service of the "white-blue" team announced this. Luis Chaves sustained an injury to the cruciate ligaments in his knee joints while he was part of the Mexican national team. This injury posed a certain obstacle to the player's career in his team. In the summer of 2023, Chaves joined Moscow's Dynamo team.

The current contract between the Mexican player and the "white-blue" team is valid until the summer of 2027. In the last season of the Russian Premier League, the 29-year-old player appeared in 19 matches. He scored three goals and provided four assists.

Chaves is considered one of the key players in the team's attack and playmaking. Following the recent surgery, he is expected to return to the field soon.
