Former midfielder Aleksandr Grishin commented on forward Anton Zabolotny's transfer to Moscow Spartak club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The specialist noted that the player's performance statistics are not particularly high. According to him, Zabolotny's record of 42 goals in 199 matches is statistically an average result.
This amounts to approximately six goals per year. Thus, he will never be the best scorer.
At the same time, he acknowledged that the veteran player is hardworking and has improved himself through his own efforts. Spartak club signed a one-year contract with 34-year-old Zabolotny.
Last season, he played for the Podmoskovye Khimki team. This transfer may open new opportunities for the club.
The player's experience and hard work are expected to benefit the team.
