CSKA team's chief physician Eduard Bezuglov commented on the condition of the team's defender Igor Diveev. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
On July 1, CSKA defeated the Partizan team 3:1 in a friendly match. Diveev started in the lineup but was substituted during the game and left the field limping.
According to Bezuglov, Igor Diveev was substituted as planned. His limping should concern us, the team doctors, not the fans.
It was emphasized that his health is currently good. Last season, the 25-year-old defender participated in 36 matches across all competitions, scored six goals, and provided one assist.
At the end of the season, CSKA secured bronze medals in the Russian Premier League and won the Russian Cup. The team and doctors are paying special attention to Igor Diveev's health.
He is expected to recover soon and return to the field, which will positively impact the team's results in upcoming competitions.
