Dmitriy Gafin, chairman of the management board of the capital's "Dinamo" club, stated that there is no task for the club to surpass Moscow's "Spartak" in terms of popularity. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the club will follow its own path and does not aim for such goals. As Gafin emphasized, they do not think about surpassing "Spartak" in popularity and have not set such a task.
It is worth noting that at the beginning of last month, 56-year-old Russian specialist Valeriy Karpin was appointed as the head coach of the "Dinamo" team. A three-year contract was signed with him.
According to the results of the last season, among the teams of the Russian Premier League, Moscow "Spartak" took fifth place. At the same time, "Dinamo" will continue its development path, and the team's goal is only to improve its game and prepare for strong competition.
The club's management and coaches are working to strengthen the team further and to show a worthy performance in front of the fans. With the arrival of the new head coach, new steps are expected to be taken within the team.
"Dinamo" aims to maintain its traditional values and achieve even higher results in the future
