It has been revealed that the club world championship is being held in an expanded format, with a total of 32 teams participating. The round of 16 of the competition has now concluded, and eight teams are competing for the trophy.

The quarter-final matches will take place on July 4 and 5. There are many opinions that continuing the tournament in this format is causing difficulties for the football calendar.

Tebas firmly expressed his opinion, emphasizing that such competitions could have a negative impact on the development of football. For this reason, he announced that he would work to ensure that the club world championship is not held in the future.
