Uzbek referee Sergey Karasyov commented on the level of his performance in the past season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, it was not the most successful period in his career. Karasyov noted that he has deviated from his path, and psychological state, injuries, and illnesses have also negatively affected his work.
However, he emphasizes the importance of how to work at present, stating that the current results take precedence over past changes. The goal is to maintain the quality level.
Currently, Karasyov is 48 years old and has been officiating matches in the Russian championship since 2008. He has been a FIFA-rated referee since 2010.
In the last season, he officiated 16 matches in the Russian Premier League, showing 64 yellow cards and 4 red cards, one of which was a direct red card. Karasyov's experience and professionalism have been enhancing his reputation as a referee.
He stated that he aims to maintain high standards in the future as well. Despite the challenges that arise during his refereeing career, he remains committed to his work and continuously strives for self-improvement.
