
Orkun Kekchu will continue his career in the Turkish championship after moving from Lisbon's "Benfica" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been loaned to Istanbul's "Besiktas," as announced by the club's press service. Kekchu's loan period at "Besiktas" is set until mid-2026.
Earlier, there were reports in the media that Moscow's "Spartak" club was also interested in the midfielder's services. In the 2024/2025 season, Orkun played a total of 55 matches.
In these matches, he scored 12 goals and provided 11 assists. Last season, the "Besiktas" team collected 62 points in the Turkish championship, finishing fourth in the league table.
