Spartak did not send an offer to Lokomotiv for Samoshnikov

New information has emerged about Spartak's interest in Lokomotiv defender Ilya Samoshnikov. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to the Championship portal, despite Spartak's interest in Samoshnikov, they have not yet sent an official offer to Lokomotiv. Negotiations regarding the 27-year-old player's transfer are ongoing.

Previously, reports suggested that the transfer fee could be around four and a half million euros. In the 2024/25 season, Samoshnikov played 33 matches across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing four assists.

His current labor contract with Lokomotiv is set to last until 2027. Therefore, his future and the transfer process are being discussed cautiously between the teams.

There is currently no concrete information about Spartak preparing an official offer to add Samoshnikov to their squad.
