The Bergamo club's press service provided this information. The 49-year-old coach was hospitalized due to inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.
This condition was complicated by a bacterial infection. It is currently noted that Yurich's condition has significantly improved.
The specialist is expected to be discharged from the hospital in the coming days. It is worth mentioning that Yurich was appointed as the head coach of "Atalanta" in June of this year.
He replaced the previous coach Gian Piero Gasperini. According to the final standings of the last Italian championship, "Atalanta" secured third place in the competition table.
In the first round of the new season, the team will host "Pisa" at home.
