Xiaomi Unveils New AI-Powered Smart Door Lock

Xiaomi company has introduced a new smart door lock to further strengthen home security and simplify the entry process. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This device is called G100, and its main goal is to provide convenience and reliability to users. The new model features a special C-grade cylinder mechanism, which effectively protects the door against forced opening or drilling.
The lock also includes sensors that immediately alert the owner if the door remains open for a long time. Additionally, the device has a special anti-tampering protection system and includes a special fingerprint function that sends a hidden alert signal in emergencies.
The most distinctive feature of the new device is the modern fingerprint recognition system based on artificial intelligence. Company representatives emphasize that this system recognizes fingerprints with over 97% accuracy in just half a second.
The system improves over time, which helps increase its speed and reliability. There are nine different ways for users to unlock the lock.
These include Bluetooth and NFC technologies, physical simple keys, and various types of passwords. Among the passwords are permanent, temporary, and one-time use options.
The G100 lock supports Xiaomi smartphones, smartwatches, and fitness bracelets via NFC technology. It connects to the HyperOS Connect ecosystem and can be fully controlled through the Mijia app.
With this app, users can view the history of visits to the door, grant access rights to other people, and set convenient functions such as automatically turning on hallway lights when the door is opened. As Xiaomi emphasized, the device uses a security chip at the level of financial institutions, ensuring encrypted communication and local data storage.
The lock operates continuously for up to twelve months on four AA batteries. If the battery runs out, it can be powered in an emergency via a USB-C port.
The price of the new smart lock is set at one thousand nine hundred yuan.
